Anyways, as I jump into the year, this is probably the second year in my whole life where I've had a real focus. My motivation? Recently accomplishing a goal that seemed completely out of reach at the beginning of 2009, but was officially reached December 6, 2009!
In March 2009 I decided that I was going to stop complaining about how I wanted to do something with music and actually did something. So I rounded up a band and set out to sing in an intimate concert for my friends and family on my birthday.
I got crazy nervous the day of the event and was seriously thinking of just showing up and letting everyone know that I wasn't gonna sing. Funny though, when I stepped up there and opened my mouth, it felt so natural. I can't say it was the most amazing show (maybe second most amazing;-) j/k), but what counts at this stage is just getting up there and opening my mouth to sing. There is much more to come:-D.
